A Letter to Our Customers

It’s hard to find words to talk about how dramatically life has changed in the past few weeks and continue changing by the minute. On behalf of our Lineage Family, our hearts go out to all those impacted by COVID-19—To the family, friends and loved ones of those who have died as a result of this virus. To the doctors and nurses and medical staff on the front lines. To our bridal family who in the weeks and months ahead will have significant impact on our community and brides. We send our thoughts and prayers. But, more than that, we support your efforts with efforts of our own to prevent illness and slow down the pace of COVID-19. Our focus is, as always, on the health and safety of our employees, customers and communities. 


We are entering truly uncharted waters as a company. We have been getting an increased amount of phone calls and emails from brides who are getting married in March, April, May and June of 2020. Our deepest sympathies to these brides who have to change their wedding dates or cancel their weddings due to the coronavirus situation. 

 

To follow the latest guidelines from the CDC and government officials, Ladies of Lineage MUST make the following adjustments to our daily operations for the safety of our staff and our customers. We apologize for any inconvenience this might bring to any of our brides and their family members but we are a fierce Lineage and we will get through this together. 

 

What We Are Doing to Assure Your Safety

 

  •  Stylists and team members are required to stay home if they are showing any signs of illness or have been isolated due to exposure.

  • Our teams are washing their hands before and after every appointment.

  • We continue adhering to the CDC recommendation of limiting the number of people in the store (including staff) to 10 or less at any given time, which means that we can only accommodate two brides at a time, and are requiring that brides shop with no more than one guest. Brides may include friends and family in their appointment through FaceTime and we will have the technology available to make this happen. (If more than one guest arrives to your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule for a later date).

  • Since we will be running at limited capacity, we will be prioritizing existing Lineage brides who have already ordered a dress and need to pick it up for their upcoming wedding, and for brides who NEED to purchase a gown for a wedding date in 2020 and who are planning to purchase when they come in.

  • Because of our limited capacity, we will not be able to accommodate brides whose wedding date is in 2021 or later, or who are shopping without the intent to purchase their gown.

  • We are sanitizing each fitting room between appointments. Deep cleaning the showroom, using disinfecting products on not just fitting areas but any touch points, computers, dressing rooms, display closets, and any other surfaces that customers will come into contact with.

  • We are practicing social distancing by minimizing contact between our staff and brides. Until further notice we will not be able to help brides in and out of dresses in the fitting rooms (zipping, pinning and clamping will happen once the bride has changed in the fitting room), and we will be refraining from shaking hands or hugging our brides. 

  • We will not be taking an appointment unless we have verbal confirmation via a phone call that our guests know the risk and know what to expect. We require that both the bride and stylist feel comfortable moving forward with the appointment safely before it begins.  

 

What We Need From You

 

  • If you have been traveling domestically or internationally we are asking that you do not come in until you have been clear of any symptoms for 14 days.

  • Reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well or have been at risk of exposure to COVID-19.

  • If you have had symptoms of cough, runny nose, fever, sore throat, or difficulty breathing, we ask that you postpone booking an appointment until those symptoms have been gone for 14 days.

  • Help us create social distance by limiting your guest count to one.

  • Wash your hands prior to starting your appointment. 

  • Be understanding during this global health crisis that our staff are doing the best they can to help you and prioritize safety.

Please rest assured that Ladies of Lineage is in constant communications with our designers to make sure that no bride’s wedding gown is behind schedule and we are constantly updating our brides with the latest delivery information from our designers.
